Joining OceansWatch links you to a community of like-minded sailors, divers and supporting academics who all work together to support our mission of undertaking worthwhile marine conservation projects and assisting island communities towards sustainable livelihoods.
OceansWatch will give you access not only to your fellow supporters but to a wide range of resources that we are developing to help you monitor and protect the marine ecosystem and those that rely on it.
As a support yacht of OceansWatch you will have access to organisations that sponsor us. Many of these organisations support us by offering supporters with discounts on anything from paint to insurance.
Our supporter's library contains a growing range of educational resources developed in house or linked to third party sources on pertinent subjects such as reef ecology, climate change and sustainable fisheries management. We also have some fabulous books and links about the coral reefs for your kids.
We provide training in Reef Check and can offer you resources such as a CoralWatch kit for you to monitor coral as you dive or snorkel.
Sail with one of our lead yachts
You can sail with one of our lead yachts or join us in a community to be part of one of our projects. We do training in Vanuatu each June.
Loan us your yacht in the winter season
If you live in New Zealand or Australia we would love to borrow your boat while you are not using it. We guarantee to return it in the same or better condition.
